April is National STD Testing Awareness Month so now is the perfect time to make your way to the William Peace University Wellness Center to get tested.
According to American Health Association, “Recent estimates from the Centers for Disease Control and Infection show that there are 19.7 million new STIs every year in the U.S.”
The WPU Wellness Center will be hosting a National STD Awareness event on April 15th at the Joyner House.
“There will be Food, music, prizes, as well as different vendors; such as, Gateway, MedFirst, and a few more. There will also be free and confidential STD testing on this day,” said Nurse Debbie Potter.
