Promises of Peace is a religious group on campus that is devoted to students  to help grow and deepen their faith as Christians.
This club is a Christian based ministry that strives to reach souls as it provides a comfortable plan of support, fellowship, and worship all in a supportive environment.

In addition, it gives students the opportunity to advance their walk with Jesus Christ.

“It [allows us to take] the steps forward to building your relationship with God,” said sophomore Jada Polk.

Holding different events on campus, such as campus prayer, and within the community, the Promises of Peace are determined to exercise their faith and share beliefs with everyone.

“The club to me means to know that there’s always going to be someone in your corner that will keep you encouraged whenever you need it,” said Rebecca Tshibambi, a junior and president of the club.  “Also that you are not alone and it is possible to live a Christian lifestyle.”

Promises of Peace meets every Tuesday evening in Flowe 217 at 7pm.
