Noah Carter, a spring 2020 graduate, used his time wisely while at William Peace University to provide himself with a smooth transition to life after education. During his time at Peace, Carter was involved in the community on many levels.

On campus, he was a member and captain of the baseball team, SAAC reporter (Student Athlete Advising Committee), and a board member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

“Playing baseball and developing relationships with teammates are skills I continue to rely on daily at work,” Carter says.

Off campus, Carter spent his time interning at the N.C. Department of Agriculture by helping develop new marketing strategies and helping grow small businesses within local grocery stores.

“I created working relationships with individuals at each of these local stores and that taught me the value of conversation in sales, Carter says.

Carter credits these opportunities for preparing him for his career path.

Now, Carter serves corporately as a Carhartt work apparel specialist with Cintas. He credits many of the business skills he showcases daily to the experiences and opportunities shared at Peace.
