Dress For Success Triangle NC hosted an event on Nov. 8 in front of Lucy Cooper Finch Library in a pop-up shop truck. The nonprofit organization provides support and professional attire to help women thrive in work and in life, according to its website.
Since 2008 Dress For Success has been striving to support women in the Triangle area be more prepared in their professional lives. Dress For Success Triangle NC has served over 20,000 women in the Triangle.
The pop-up truck event gave WPU women students the chance to be fitted and styled with professional business clothes. An image coach went over this student’s profile and career clothing needs before they entered the truck full of donated professional clothing which allowed each WPU student to receive one free outfit.
Jewelry and other accessories were also given out to WPU students to help complete their new business outfits.
