The now-established 2nd-floor restaurant of Belk has so much to offer to new students, commuters, and residents here at William Peace University.

Bowlful made its debut last semester in Fall of 2023 and has been helping students ever since.

Joyce Richardson, a supervisor at Bowlful, gave her input on her experience of working at Bowlful for the past semester,

“Bowlful is a new concept that they wanted to give students a healthier option, as far as the meals they could have during the day and in between classes,” said Richards.

It has become beneficial for many students to have another food option that is healthy, on campus, and affordable.

The selection at Bowful provides a variety of items such as rice bowls with numerous toppings such as cheese, beans, onions, tomatoes, and chipotle sauce with the option of creating salads and burritos.

Bowful offers smoothies with a wide variety of fruits and toppings. Swirl is the other healthy option for students.

It’s called Swirl by Bowful and they offer smoothies, smoothie bowls and more all for $4.99.

They’re available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Bowlful offers a healthier alternative rather than just takeout or getting Chick-Fil-A everyday,” said Richardson.

Aside from the variety, the health benefits, and the affordability bowlful offers; one of the biggest factors that Bowlful contributes to William Peace Students is convenience.

It’s open all day long and allows students to come even when the dining hall on the first floor is closed.

Josean Artis, a senior student here at William Peace said, “My experience with bowlful was a fruitful experience. I gained a lot and I feel it is very nutritious.”

Bowlful not only exclusive to just dining bucks on a pacer card. People are also able to use credit cards to get their meals as well, and enjoy a nutritious and “fruitful” experience.
