Students elected as Alpha Chi candidates

Twenty-six Peace students have been elected as candidates for induction into Alpha Chi, the academic honor society.

To be eligible for membership in Alpha Chi, students must have completed at least 59 hours of credit with a minimum GPA of 3.6 and must rank in the top 10 percent of their class.

In the case of transfer students, at least 24 hours must have been completed at William Peace University, and both the overall GPA and the WPU GPA must meet these standards.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place in the chapel on Tuesday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m.

The students are: Maritza Abonza, Kelcey Beech, Steven Blankenship, Kiara Cobb, Amy Elder, Caroline Jackson, Lindsey Johnson, Allana Jones, Kathrin Kinney, Adriana Liberty, Rebekah Link, Rachel Lyons, Hannelore Manchester, Hannah Murphy, Laura Murray, Andrea Pease, Amanda Rose, Trici’a Simmons, Amber Swan, Sharon Thomas, Sarah Troxler, Erik van Doornewaard, Taylor White, Ariel Wortham, Shannon Wright and Al Mounawara Yaya.
