Bring on the excitement of March. The sunshine, beaches, traveling, friends, and the madness are just a few things that sum up spring break for many students at William Peace University.

Two students from Peace chose Atlanta, Georgia and Greensboro, North Carolina as part of their spring break destinations.
Camille McDougald is one Peace sophomore that spent her time in Atlanta embracing March Madness at the ACC men’s basketball tournament.

“I had the choice of going to Key West, Panama City, or Atlanta. In my mind this was not a hard decision,” McDougald said. “My family and I are huge college basketball fans and I couldn’t imagine laying in the sun over watching hours of basketball.”
McDougald remains supportive of the UNC Tarheels as they continue to play for the championship.

“UNC’s men’s basketball program is considered one of the most successful programs in NCAA history with 17 ACC titles, 29 ACC regular season titles, and two NCAA championships in just the past 8 years,” McDougald said. “How could you not be a fan?”
Brianna Demby chose to spend her spring break in Greensboro watching musical artist, Trey Songz perform in concert.

“Trey Songz is one of my all-time favorite artists and I wouldn’t dare pass up the opportunity to see him perform live,” Demby said. “I wanted him to ask me to marry him, and although it did not happen, I know it will one day”.

Whether it’s concerts or basketball tournaments, Peace girls seem to know the perfect places to spend their week-long vacations.
