Students, faculty, and staff will join together for a memorial service honoring Kasie Moore on Wednesday, April 4th in the Chapel at 3:30 p.m.
Moore was killed Friday, March 23, after an SUV hit her as she was walking along Highway 70.
Moore graduated from Peace in 2011 with a degree in Business Administration. She was a member of the Alpha Chi National Honors Society, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, Phi Beta Lamda Business Organization, and was captain of the softball team.
Her twin sister Lindsey also graduated from Peace in 2011.
The university is making counseling available to all members of the Peace community. Counselors are available in Health Services and have extended hours this week:
· Monday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
· Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
· Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
· Thursday: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
· Friday: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
