William Peace University is a school that caters to the needs of its students who live on campus, but one must wonder how commuter students feel about their Peace experience.
While commuter students are more than welcome to take part in the activities and facilities of their school, students often speak of lacking something to do in-between classes.
Brittany Smith, a WPU senior, said sometimes it frustrates her that “only so many labs are open at certain times.”
This brings up one of the primary concerns of most commuter students, scheduling.
Often, commuter students’ schedules and the schedules of the school have difficulty matching each other, not to mention the schedules of the student’s life outside of school.
Kimothy Jones, Peace student, said, “I feel that the students who live here also don’t have anything to do.”
