A new student group at William Peace University called PhenoMEnal made its debut this semester.

The group gives students a chance to express themselves through their own ingenuity and artistic abilities and share with those who also appreciate this form of art. Members are poets, singers, artists, storytellers, musicians and comedians.

PhenoMEnal meets every Thursday at 7:10 p.m. in room Flowe 220, and every other Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on 2nd Belk for Open Mic.

To celebrate Black History Month, PhenoMEnal has been hosting Movie Night every Wednesday, in room Flowe 110 at 7 p.m.
So far, “Love Jones,” “Brown Sugar” and “Something the Lord Made” have been shown. To conclude the month, the group will be showing “Poetic Justice” on Feb 27th. All members of the WPU community are welcome to attend.

For more information about the group, contact Staff Advisor Miss Tonita Few at tfew@peace.edu.
