Looking for some fun on a Friday night?
First Friday in Raleigh is a popular evening outing where you can enjoy food, art and music.
It takes place on the first Friday of each month, when downtown art galleries, museums, businesses and restaurants offer up special creations.
This past Friday, participants had a chance to make creative self and family portraits in the Art Loft at Marbles Kids Museum.
Art lovers enjoyed “Nature Culture” at the 311 Gallery. Julie Cardillo is a painter and creates narratives in aspects of nature which allows is viewers the ability to imagine the world through the environment.
Another exhibit by David Dunlop, an internally renowned painter, art educator and lecturer at museums and galleries throughout the country, was on display at Adam Cave Fine Art.
