If you’re looking for some great Raleigh events this St. Patrick’s Day you are in luck.
Downtown Raleigh provides activities for ages young and old to experiences the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick’s Day, and many other surrounding areas are doing the same.
Raleigh will be holding the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival that will be going on Saturday, March 16th.
The Wearin’ O’ the Green Festival will be on Moore Square and will start at 10:00 a.m.. This is a fun-filled festival catering to all ages with food, drinks, and plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.
“St. Patty’s Day is one of my favorite holidays to spend with my friends because the only expectation is to have fun and laugh with good company,” said 21-year-old, Katelyn Lorick.
For students 21 and older, there are also many local Irish-themed pubs close to campus such as Tir Na Nog, Trali and Napper Tandy’s to stop in and get your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on.
