If you are looking for a relaxing and fun night out filled with painting, friends and maybe a little bit of wine, Wine and Design is for you.
A local art studio in Raleigh, NC offers all of those qualities for just $35.
They provide a picture for you to paint along with the canvas, paint, apron and all the other necessities to create your masterpiece and get your art “buzz” on.
For Wine and Design to go on each night there must be 10 clients enrolled in the class. This means to mark your calendar for a girls night out or date night with your significant other.
WPU Junior Sabre Jessup says, “This is an awesome idea for night with my friends.”
Also, private parties are available to book for any occasion, such as a birthday party, engagement party or even a baby shower.
These events must be booked in advance with at least ten guests at $35 a head with a choice of three different studios, the small studio room, the main studio or the new outside patio overlooking downtown Raleigh.
With Wine and Design adults are not the only ones who can get their art buzz on, their children are welcome too. The Art BUZZ Kids program is offered for children the ages of five and up.
They have several options that are available for children to participate in from summer camp sessions, birthday parties or Sunday Funday. Both the classes on Sunday and the birthday parties are provided with a small price of $25 a child.
The summer camp is in session four different times during the summer for four days. With an exciting and fun theme that is picked by the staff at Wine & Design children can participate.
Not only does the Wine and Design staff like to entertain but every month a night is put together to “Paint it Forward.”
Each month the staff designates a night that supports the SPCA by painting a wonderful pet that is up for adoption. When you sign up for this class you get to paint your own pet as well as the opportunity to adopt the featured pet of that night.
“I love this idea of not only getting to paint your own pet but to also spread the word of animals at the SPCA who need a good home,” says Junior Maddie Fecko. “ Wine and Design does a great job of giving back to the community with this event.”
At the end of the night, after the money is counted and figured up, 20 percent goes to help out the local SPCA foundation in Raleigh.
All you have to do is sign up, show up, sip up and be ready to paint.
