Cary Towne Center Mall is one of the quietest malls in the Raleigh area but that is expected to change shortly. According to Cary Towne Center’s website, Dave & Buster’s, where you “eat, drink and play” will open on November 6.

According to their website, Dave & Buster’s offers a variety of fun games for children and adults. Some of the newest games available include: Temple Run, Dream Raiders, Dizzy Chicken, and Blackout.

Since the summer, the “coming soon” sign has intrigued many mall-goers and people who are looking for employment. Holly Messina, a junior at N.C. State University, has been looking for a job for the past few months to no avail.

Once she heard that Dave & Busters was opening, she quickly applied for many of the positions the company had available.

“I have been to Dave & Buster’s many times and I always enjoy myself,” Messina said.

“I feel like this is going to bring a lot of business to the mall, especially teens.”

Dave & Buster’s restaurant is offering more than 200 job positions and started interviewing in mid-October.

Another avid shopper at Cary Towne Center and Cary resident, John Gangi, says that the atmosphere of the mall will completely change.

“I have visited the other Dave & Buster’s in Concord, N.C. and I am hoping that this one will be just as fun,” Gangi says.

He also stated that he has been going to this mall since he was young and can’t imagine the coming of Dave & Buster’s to be a bad thing. When asked if he will be attending the opening night of the restaurant, he emphatically responded with “absolutely!”
