Every Body Fashion Show

There is a lot of buzz around campus about the 2014 Every Body Fashion Show. This is not just a regular Fashion Week ceremony – the Every Body Fashion Show was created to support and celebrate all body types.
The show was constructed to promote the awareness of National Eating Disorder week by providing education about eating disorders and encouraging healthy body image. Last year was the first time Peace held the show and it resulted a rewarding experience for a number of students.  “I like seeing my friends have fun while being comfortable in their skin,” said audience member and sophomore Amber Byers- Alford. There was an abundance of models that showcased their personal style, but most importantly, they exuded confidence through the way they view themselves and their bodies. A number of students at Peace have already signed up to be a part of the show. The Every Body Fashion Show is a free event and will take place in Kenan Auditorium on February 27th at 7pm.
