Raleigh, NC- Numerous people gathered in downtown Raleigh on Monday, October the 12th for the city’s annual food truck rodeo.
Food truck entrepreneurs parked their money-making machines along Fayetteville Street to deliver their treaty meals and treats that food truck fans love.

From beer to food and ice cream, countless options were available to choose from.

One of these options was King Creole a Louisiana authentic cuisine. The owner of this truck is award winning chef Micah Martello.

“I started my food truck two years ago and I love it.  Business is good except in the winter. People here do not really support food trucks in the winter,” said Martello.

Buick also participated in the event using it as a promotional tool for its vehicles.  Buick has teamed up with Big Green Egg, a kamado-style ceramic grill and they are going to food rodeos in the southeast region to tell their stories.

These companies gave people the opportunity to win money to buy food from the food trucks.

“We invited people to come and do a scavenger hunt on our verticals and we gave them a five dollar token that they could spend at any food truck,” John Duensing the Buick Manager for the southeast region stated.

Although it was a rainy Sunday many people were still able to enjoy the festivities. Others are encouraged to come out next year.
