Students at William Peace University a four-year private intuition in Raleigh, North Carolina are finding new ways to connect with their fellow peers.
Maya Bryant ’17 and Saquan Howard ’16 have created a podcast entitled “A Peace of mind” where they inform students about happenings around William Peace University and offer advice.
“My hope is that begin will begin to expand their thinking and truly understand that there is always going to be a difference in opinions, but just because we don’t agree on every single topic we are still entitled to that opinion, also I want students to know about the wonderful events on campus and get introduced to some new students through our interviews,” said co-host Saquan Howard.
The podcast is recorded bi-weekly and posted every other Friday. On the podcast, students are informed of events happening on campus as well as the latest news from the WPU sports teams. Students are asked to send in questions to be answered at the end of the podcast.
“I really enjoy listening to the podcast, it is such a fun and easy way to keep up with what is going on around campus, also it is always fun to hear Maya and Saquan debate about different topics,” said Sophomore Cameron Ford.
“A Peace of Mind” podcast is currently expanding with more listeners tuning in to each broadcast and more interviews with fellow WPU students as well.
