William Peace University’s Red Rose Ball will be Friday, March 31 from 8 p.m. until midnight at Market Hall located in downtown Raleigh at 215 Wolfe Street.
Tickets and t-shirts for the ball are available for purchase for five dollars at Belk Patio daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. during lunchtime or at the door the night of the event.
This year’s theme for the Red Rose Ball is Vintage Circus.
“Although there will be no live animals, students can expect to see circus-themed decorations,” says Lindsay Perry.
Each student is allowed to take up to three guests. Students, as well as their guests, are expected to dress up, as it is a formal event.
The Red Rose Ball is an event held at WPU every year. The event got its name due to red roses being a symbol of Peace.
Perry emphasizes that the ball encourages students to dress up, embrace tradition and enjoy fellowship with their friends.
