Dogs>People

No but really y’all! Dogs are God’s way of apologizing for your relatives- You know the ones you try to ignore until your Momma tells you that you have a family reunion next month… Yikes, I think I’ll be sick that weekend.
Even the famous Mark Twain says, “The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog”.
A dog is the best friend you will ever have. A loyal, loving companion that cares for your more than him/herself; a special creature whose time in your heart will far outnumber its days on earth.
“People come and go throughout your life, but dogs…dogs stay forever, Nicole Phillips, WPU junior criminal justice major says. “No matter if you’ve had a rough day, and you just feel like giving up, they love you endlessly and will never judge or criticize you—they know your feelings without having to ask questions and are there to support you.”
Having a dog will bless you with the happiest days of your life, and one of the worst days. Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them, and filling that emptiness we didn’t even know we had.
When asked, “Would you rather have a new person come into your life or a new dog?” Braxton Lamm, Senior WPU Criminal Justice Major said “New dog for sure because it would probably remain a part of my life longer than any human would. Dogs are a huge help for meeting new friends and picking up girls.”
Dogs never lie about love. They don’t start wars, discriminate, or incite hatred. Dogs aren’t sexist, racist, evil, or hypocritical. My dog has more personality, integrity, empathy, and loyalty than most people I know.
What a beautiful world we would live in if people had hearts like dogs.
I don’t know about you but love is a four-legged word, and the road to my heart is paved with paw prints.
