DON'T STRESS YOURSELF DURING FINALS

Final exams are less than a week away, and it’s time to start preparing for them. This is a stressful time for a lot of students. Here are a few tips to avoid stressing or overwhelming yourself during next week exams.
Stay Hydrated

  • Staying hydrated is very important to keep focus while studying. Usually when people are stress they tend to forget to eat or even drink. Drinking water is super important to reduce stress. If you forget to drink anything especially water your body starts to crave it and that puts on more stress on top of the stress your already having for yourself. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO EAT AND DRINK!

Avoid Coffee/Energy Drink Overload

  • Even though, during this time you’re staying up late trying to study and complete assignments, you often grab some coffee or even and energy drink to keep yourself awake. This can be a good and bad thing. Drinking too much caffeine can affect your health, and can give you the jitters. To avoid overdoing it with the caffeine, try picking Coffee one study night and a energy drink for another.

Avoiding Social Media

  • Social Media can be a huge distraction while studying. This can get your focus all out of whack. Sometimes it is good to take a break and look at your social media while studying but do not get caught up into it you’ll soon realized that the time starts to tick away from you. To avoid this try giving yourself 5-20 minutes of social media time during your study breaks. This give you enough time to have a snack as well as check up on other friends who are also getting ready for exams.

Balance Sleeping

  • Keeping a regular sleep schedule is important. Being super alert for your exam gives you an advantage to those who been up so late the night before the test. By planning ahead with your studying you won’t have to pull an all-nighter. It’s normal for students to study before bed, but try to avoid looking at school work right before you close your eyes. Do something that’s relaxing for you instead.
